Sunbeam School Varuna
The school choir presents a performance called ‘Orchestra Sur Pravah’. Starting with Om Mani Padme Hum, the six-syllabled Sanskrit mantra associated with the four-armed Shadakshari form of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion, they then sing ‘Zinda Shahar Banaras Hun’ that conveys the soulful aspects of the city of Varanasi. They end with a mesmerising jugalbandi.
