Last year, the Mahindra Kabira Festival conducted an outreach programme, visiting 6 schools and colleges in Varanasi. The festival team discussed the Festival's philosophy, Kabir's teachings, career opportunities within the festival, and the music and poetry within the programme. This initiative not only raised awareness but also recruited valuable volunteers for the festival. This year, we aim to expand the outreach programme during the 2-3 month period prior to the festival, engaging students through music workshops. Through this programme, students will have the opportunity to perform at the festival and receive a certification from the festival. These workshops, led by established musicians from Varanasi, who have been associated with the festival, promise to be enriching and inspiring.
