Aruna Sairam

Aruna Sairam is a Carnatic vocalist, composer, collaborator, humanitarian, speaker and an icon. Steeped in Bhava, expression, and spirituality, Aruna’s music evokes Bhakti - devotion - in the listener. With her immense scholarship and rootedness in Indian culture, she has taken the classical Carnatic form and popularised it amongst the masses.  She has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall - London, Carnegie Hall - New York, Royce Hall - Los Angeles, the Festival of Sacred Music - Morocco, the Oud Festival - Jerusalem. She has also been an elected Vice-Chairperson of the  Sangeet Natak Akademi.
