Vedanth Bharadwaj is a student of Indian classical music, presently under the tutelage of Sri Ramamoorthy Rao. He is a singer-guitarist-composer and has his own studio SAMe in Chennai, where he composes music for films, documentaries, albums, dance and theatre productions. Having produced and released two albums 'Mati Kahe' and 'Suno Bhai' (in collaboration with Bindhumalini), he specialises in singing songs written by mystic saint poets of the Sufi and Bhakti traditions. He has performed at several music festivals and venues in India and abroad, including The Playhouse Theatre Company (South Africa), Mumbai Kabir Festival, The Repertwahr Festival, and the Sacred Music Festival at Pondicherry.
Bindhumalini Narayanswamy from Bangalore is a singer-composer, trained in Carnatic Music under eminent musicians such as Rama Ravi, Kiranavali, Mangal am Shankar and G. Madhavan. She studied Hindustani classical music under the renowned Padma Bhushan Late Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan Saheb. ‘Sunol Bhai’, a collection of Kabir songs, is her first album that was created in collaboration with Vidant Bharadwaj. Sindhu and Vedanta created music together for the Tamil feature film, Arvis.
